John Maki

Vicus Therapeutics, President and CEO

John W. Maki serves as President and CEO of Vicus Therapeutics, LLC. He previously served as Managing Director of Technology Directors, Inc. from 2001-2005 and 1997-1999. Mr. Maki was Managing Director of Audax Group from 1999-2001. From 1988-1997 he served as Principal of Bain Capital having previously served as a Consultant to Bain and Company from 1983-1988.

Mr. Maki obtained his A.B. from Harvard University in 1983. He was a Board Member and/or founding investor of the following companies: 3DMatrix, Addition Technology (Buyout), Eliance Biosciences (acquired by Macrogenics), Icon Genetics (acquired by Bayer), Biosource Technologies (Buyout), Physio Control (LBO and acquired by Medtronic), Sunol Molecular, Therascope (renamed Alantos), WesleyJessen VisionCare (LBO then acquired by Novartis) and Xios Biosciences (acquired by Sunol Molecular).
